BLEU REINE (fr) is a dark pop / electric folk solo project, founded in 2018 by guitarist and singer Léa Lotz. She writes on dreams, violence, desire, and death, that are the pillars of a two-sided work – forged by ancient tales and legends, and also by the melancholy of a certain evil of the century.

In 2019 she released her first EP “Elementaire” in vinyl and digital format on Sanit Mils Records. In 2020, she puts out three volumes of her “Sang d’encre” (« Ink Blood ») project online, an automatic writing experience that brings her closer than ever to her spiritual parents, 16 Horsepower, PJ Harvey, Alain Johannes,…
Eager to always renew her musical story, BLEU REINE builds her trajectory and meets her audience far from the traditional paths of the industry, through intimate concerts in unusual heritage sites (Père-Lachaise cemetery, St Eustache Church in Paris, medieval cloisters…) or alongside her Parisian traveling companions in more electric configurations, intended to stir the audience in established venues & clubs.
A first LP entitled « La Saison Fantôme » (« The Ghost Season”) will be released in 2023 on Sanit Mils Records. The album was played live during the whole month of February 2022 at the Théâtre des Déchargeurs in old town Paris, and raised a warm interest from her regular and new audience, as well as from the musical press that came curious to discover the latest but yet unpublished of her work.
